Meet Dr. Susan Lauten

Dr. Susan Lauten, PhD, is an animal nutritionist with over 15 years of experience in formulating healthy, balanced, evidence-based diets for pets of all ages and health conditions.
Dr. Lauten obtained her PhD in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University, where she also received a Masters in Animal Nutrition. She has authored a number of peer-reviewed research papers and chapters in professional guidebooks, and she was a co-founder of the clinical nutrition consultancy at the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
Milk worked with Dr. Lauten to design recipes that are nutritionally balanced for dogs and cats.
